DEALING IN STOLEN PROPERTY IN FLORIDA

To prove the crime of Dealing in Stolen Property, the State must prove the following two elements beyond a reasonable doubt:
- Defendant trafficked in or endeavored to traffic in property alleged; and
- Defendant knew or should have known that property alleged was stolen.
Penalties for Dealing in Stolen Property
Dealing in Stolen Property is a felony of the second degree punishable by up to 15 years in prison and a fine not exceeding $10,000.
